Bern was born in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School,Admiral Farragut Academy, the University of Iowa, 1989 and Drake University Law School, 1993.
Bern and his wife, Milissa, have two children and reside in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Bern’s interests and hobbies include golfing and gardening. Bern is a member of various legal organizations and has participated in a number of activities on behalf of local, civic, church and charitable organizations.
Bern’s areas of concentration are real estate, probate, estate planning, business and corporate law. Bern is licensed in both Iowa and Illlinois.
